Change can be intimidating.
One of my favorite quotes is from Mark Twain:
"The only one that likes change is a wet baby."
So the way to change is to start slowly.
Today I will show you three easy things that you can
do RIGHT NOW to change your life.
Do each of these for a week and your life will be
completely transformed.
Each one takes no more than ten seconds.
So I want you to take 30 seconds of each hour to
help yourself change.
There are 120 thirty-second segments in each hour.
I just want one of them.
And with those thirty seconds, do the
following:
1. Think one positive thought every hour.
Make the conscious choice to think something
positive every hour.
For example: "I am a confident, happy person."
"I am enjoying my life every single day."
"Good things are happening for me."
It's very important that you say this in the present
tense.
Now for #2:
Say something true and honest every hour.
Tell someone when you feel happy.
Speak up when you notice something beautiful.
It doesn't have to be profound, as long as it's honest
and real.
And finally, #3:
Show your appreciation once an hour.
Tell your family and friends what you appreciate about them:
How they are always there for you, how nice they are,
how good with kids they are.
Be appreciative of anything and everything, and once an
hour, speak it out loud.
That's it.
Do each one of these for a week.
Thirty seconds an hour.
And with this 30 seconds, you are training your mind to
look for the good things in life and feel grateful for them.
