Chassidic Reggae singer Matisyahu spends a good part of his day in meditation. On a recent album, the Matisyahu Meditation on Silence caught my interest. The opening words of the song are taken from the Amida - the standing silent prayer. The words that Matisyahu says in translation are: "May it be your will that the sayings of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be before you Lord - my rock and redeemer."
